I've been putting together portfolios for grad schools, so I've been reviewing a lot of the things I've made in the past 3-4 years.

I don't have this piece currently in my possession (it's still somewhere at the Society of Illustrators in New York, I presume), but unlike most of the things I make, the more I look at her, the more I like her:

La Sinistra




I would still like to make that headdress eventually, and perhaps the collar. I've been meaning to make more characters like her and perhaps animating them with stop motion, but I've only gotten as far as sculpting several different faces which live in small boxes in my apartment. My guests occasionally find the faces rather disturbing, but what can you do.

that's en excellent question: you should be able to get an rss feed to it now i believe.

and now if i only actually updated the damn thing...
